Heli Pad Fundraiser

The Ponoka and District Health Foundation is excited to be a part of the Ponoka Hospital and Care Center Helipad Project.  We are working with other groups in Ponoka to refurbish the current helipad so Stars Air Ambulance can resume transporting patients directly to the hospital.  Currently the helicopters land at the Ponoka Airport where an ambulance meets them .  When Stars is able to land right at the hospital, time will be saved treating patients, and EMS will be available for other calls.
